ABOUT US

Saifee Hospital

Saifee Hospital, founded by His Holiness Dr. Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin and managed by the Saifee Hospital Trust, is a leading healthcare
institution in Karachi. Dedicated to the memory of his revered father, His Holiness Dr. Syedna Taher Saifuddin, Saifee Hospital stands as a testament to the Dawoodi Bohra community’s sustained commitment to the well-being of humankind.

The hospital embodies the Islamic philosophy of preserving and restoring health, guided by the Quranic verse in which Nabi Ibrahim (AS) declares:

Rasul Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم further illustrates this philosophy of medicine, counseling in a hadith:

“Treat the ailing, for there is no illness for which Allah Ta’ala has not provided a remedy.”

With this clear vision, and under the leadership of His Holiness Dr. Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin, Saifee Hospital continues to contribute to a healthier,
more equitable society—combining compassionate care with cutting-edge medical practices. This multi-speciality hospital serves a diverse and densely populated area, offering a comprehensive range of medical services under one roof. The hospital serves an estimated 360,000 patients in a year. Facilities include fully equipped wards, private and deluxe rooms, and specialized units. Among its latest developments is the upcoming state-of-the-art cardiac wing, which will significantly enhance cardiovascular care.

Saifee Hospital also offers extensive laboratory services, vaccination rooms, modern diagnostic facilities, and a variety of therapeutic treatments, along with 24/7 emergency services. In addition, the hospital actively promotes research, conducts clinical trials, and collaborates with universities to advance academic development in healthcare and medicine. More than 700 nursing graduates have passed out from the hospital’s “Saifee Burhani College of Nursing”
